Amanda Claire started this company after graduating college with a certificate in portrait photography and has over 16 years of professional experience, as well as numerous international portrait awards, magazine covers and features.

I’m sentimental, and cherish keepsakes, which is probably why I’m a print photographer. Your legacy is important to me, that's why I work so hard to make my clients feel comfortable and confident in front of my camera and preserve that experience with heirloom artwork. That's my vision, and A. Claire Vision is my business.

In order to best serve my clients, I went to college for photography. I then worked as the assistant to the director of photography at VisArts in Rockville, Maryland where I was chosen as a youth grant leader teaching traditional darkroom photography to at-risk high school students. The program was a huge success and I was even recognized by the City Counsel. After that, I worked with several world-renowned photographers, and was able to learn a great deal from them.

I bring all those years of experience to every single job.  I don’t think you ever stop learning, so I take continuing education whenever I have the opportunity. Traveling the world and immersing myself in different cultures is one of the best ways to learn and grow, so I consider that both my inspiration and education.
